Struggling again

Had a lovely weekend, but now thinking not good to go out 2 days on the trot. As legs really bad and fatigued. And it hasn't helped that I forgot to take my tablets last night!

I know last night around 7 I could barely walk as my legs didn't want to carry me.

I can commiserate with you as I was the same on Saturday couldn't wait to get back as could barely walk. I've got to go out 3 days running, fortunately in the car so only walking a short distance but know there will be repercussions. Ho0E you will be feeling better soon.x

Driving/ travel can be as bad as too much walking.Try and take it easy and pace your days

Give yourself some pampering each evening and an early night , rest in bed , even if you don't get to sleep can help you .

Oh what a shame , it puts a dampener on an otherwise enjoyable time. You will have learnt you lesson though I'm sure .

Either pace your days with half rest and half activity or don't have two full active days in succession.

Have you got a mobile phone ? Or a smart watch / Fitbit?

You could set up an alarm to remind you when it's time to take your medications .

Have a few days of just resting and looking after yourself

Thank you. I'm going food shopping hopefully tomorrow, and I will rest when I get back and Wednesday, then go from there xx

I have an app on my phone that reminds me to take my meds, 4 times a day, called Medisafe, it’s awesome! But I still have days where I forget! And I have been on meds for 15 years with other conditions that Fybro just about topped it off!!

Same here I've had many conditions for many years and was fine taking my meds before. But then fibro hit and all is changed x

I had to have essential garden work done at the weekend. I planned moving pots etc (I have a teeny garden!) over a 2week space beforehand... I did OK and requested help for taking down structures. I stated I couldn't help with garden work at all and that was accepted. On return I came back to chaos so pride took over and I worked too quickly putting stuff back, weeding unearthed gravel on my bottom and requesting help to put heavier stuff back...

As it was so sunny here in SE I got up early to start work and continued too many hours...

I've never done that before!!

Forgot to pace!

The sunshine and warmth swayed me into immediate action...

I fell asleep exhausted last night, woke up too early and today my throbbing legs just don't work and cannot support my frame if upright!

I have caused this by working too much without suffient pacing...

I am disappointed in myself but need to ask what to do???

I've rested legs for hours and continually flex muscles to try and stretch...

Hot bath next but not sure if there's anything else to do...

I walk into kitchen every now+again.

I'm keeping muscles warm with extra clothes+covers???

Sorry if I've hijacked this post but it rang bells for me too...

No worries. Ask your doctor for Ketoprofen. I put it on my legs, as they play up every day. And it does help.Try not to kick yourself to much. And rest for the next couple of days.

I had 2 phone appointments today. The first one took me by surprise as I thought it was tomorrow morning! That was gp.

Then I had the hospital phone me about 1ish.

And those 2 phone calls have wiped me out!

I understand that sort of exhaustion too! What doesn't wear us out???

I was lucky today that I'd got a ready made salad in fridge otherwise I wouldn't have eaten all day...

Just too pained to stand at all!

I hope you're resting too?

Take very good care Fibrofog...
