my stress is so bad I nearly cut my legs off last night, the itching on both shins is horrendous despite all the creams and holistic stuff, keeps me awake most of night, worst last 3 nights. Used to get it over 12 years ago before I had MECFS & Fibromyalgia sometimes but nowhere near as bad & we put it down then to stress.
I have been experienced extra stress last couple of weeks

Yes, I think you would need a professional opinion regarding it. x
The endless nights I have wanted to scream with itching, my late hubby said get a cloth soak in cold milk from the fridge and put in on the arms or legs wherever was going mad... it took a while kept soaking the cloth and it helped.. hope you get some relief its horrific x
I was joking sorry, anything & I mean anything I would put on my legs to stop this itch, touch wood I've had 3 clear nights so I don't understand why it goes like this
I wish, I had it a lot over a period of several years when I ran my own sheet metal biz with 30 employees, not had it for 12 years since I sold up and started eCommerce biz but its back with a vengeance last few weeks. It could be the worry I had trying to fix my computer, I got in such a state and I was worried about the getting the perfect logo for our new website, new website, new look, new logo. But, those two issues have been resolved now so yes fingers crossed it could be the lot for now touch wood
Is it just at night this affects you? Just a thought but, I suffered with restless leg syndrome, and extremely itchy legs were a big part of it! I'm wondering if maybe it could be this, as mine yrs ago, would come and go, but like I say, just a thought!?
Thankfully my Dr. Gave me a Pres. Itch cream, Mometasone Furoate, which helps a lot but I also take Benedryl at night. I'm never quite sure what sets off the itching on ankles and lower legs including inside of the knees. The worst can be hands or wrists. If I scratch too hard on wrists I get blood spots just under the skin but not on hands or other areas. I think perhaps it has to do with an ingredient in my meds. Not sure which. Or Fibro. Or stress. It comes and goes. Also have elec like shocks of pain...makes no sense either. Have had Fibro for 30 years years. Am 75. M.A. In USA
Hi Ann, its not eczema then? I only ever get it on my shins bad but I have had my scalp & sides of feet itch a lot which I've read folk with Fibro can have. Sounds like nerve pain you have there, which you will get with Fibro. I've had 3 clear nights of itching so I just don't understand why it goes like this
