Osteoarthritis in most of Main Joints

A long while back I had spinal pain on a regular basis at the age of 13 years and being so long ago all that was ever said to a youngster was, its growing pains. Yea. Yea. of course it is. Years later after constant suffering from spinal pain, the rest of my body joined in with Osteoarthritis. I did take medication for the chronic severe pain and did make sure the pills I used did quell the pain properly. Today, I take Morphine which does kill the pain so I may live life comfortably. I ensure I look after myself at 77 years old and take my medication properly I do feel fine. My mind is clear, no fuzziness, no complaints otherwise I manage fine.

Morning, yes years ago things got dismissed or even mistaken for something else. You do very well to keep on top of things at 77 years. I turned 60 last year and now got arthritis, I did swimming and was always so active. I managed to get outside yesterday as it was nice and warm, and do a patch of weeding (not my favourite job) today is payback , so the Codiene has come out too see me threw my Saturday. Did you get some Sun where you live ? It’s certainly welcome. It’s rained here in Suffolk so that will differently keep me indoors today 😀, take care .

Wondering if you meant to post this in an OA or arthritis forum rather than this one?

Hi, I live up in Fife in Scotland and the weather is still cold but the sunshine sometimes does make an appearance, just ! I must admit I do look too summer as you will know with Arthritis any heat at all is appreciated. I am on medication mostly Morphine which works a treat and used properly gives great relief, thank heavens. I was a hill climber for years, a great hobby and the hills aren't too far away; but over time the Osteoarthrits in my spine eventually knocked me for six. The doctor whom I have known for 22 years, prescribes stronger opioids that enables me to do more, but there is a limit with movement the body can do without grinding to a halt, mines did. No matter, I do do well and appreciate that. Take good care.
