Flare ups

I’m new to the group only been diagnosed,,ive also got depression,I.b.s ,,,c.o.p.d,,,g.o.r.d.,,osteoarthritis..I’m sure I get flare ups my back and my legs especially the pain is horrendous I’m on morphine liquid and morphine tablets without my other meds for my other problems I wake up so many times throughout the night in pain and constant going to the toilet going a wee ,,I’m on waiting on operation for my hands I just want to say hello to everyone in here who suffering in silence pain

Hi Cornish24.... I sympathise, ..OA sufferer too im afraid, so totally get it. Doesnt it just drag us down to a place we dont really want to be? ! Im not on here very much.. but I do strongly recommend it....

Hi there. Welcome and I’m sorry to hear you are in so much pain… it difficult to say what helps as we are all so different and have different doctors and pain meds - I’m on the same as you but I also have venlaflaxine for my depression and quetiapine at night to sleep and to help with my mental health moods that combination does work to a degree until I get a flare and then I need more but I’m told there is no more… I’m daily on these as well as things for IBS cystic Ovarian issues high BP and high cholesterol and the list goes on… it’s tough but hopefully this group can give you some support and answer any questions you have … you are certainly not alone xx

I describe it to my {sometimes unsympathetic} husband as having both legs stuck in the campfire. I have a very high pain tolerance, but this is indescribable. The dope I'm on helps, but I hate being groggy and uncoordinated.

So far I have not found a workable solution. If anyone does, please post!
