Been on it over 2 months and apart from improving my mood dropouts Im not sure it suits me. My issue is mood drops and fatigue with minor fibro symptoms. What with the lump in my throat feeling off, more tired etc. There is def some positives but I cant live with this lump in throat and trapped wind and the head pressure seems to be worse. I increased dose to 60 from 30. Going to go back down and poss coming off it for something else. Does anyone recommend an alternative?

Hi Floppy99, Sorry to hear your struggling with Duloxetine.....I struggled for the first 6mths with Duloxetine but I am glad that I stuck with it, its helped with my panic attacks, I increased gradually to 120mg the side effects are really annoying but after the 6mths, they seem to have settled but if you feel its not for you, it may be best to have a chat with your GP. Feel that some meds don't suit everyone...and I have trialed so many....hope you find something that suits you soon Floppy99.....take care, heres a Big Hug for you 🤗 xx

Hi there, I have been on 60mg for over 4 years now , it has really done its job for me as no anxiety or real depression either, I do get headaches in mornings sometimes as I take mine at night, but been a real lifesaver, perhaps book a call back with your doctor and have a catch up with your current issues, fatique is hard to tell if it’s the medication or the Fibro sometimes, , can be trial and error with meds , don’t just stop it either as I’ve read many times you can get nasty side effects, the doctor will taper you off it normally , good luck and take care xx
