Pain Toolkit and Pain Concern's Navigator tool

Hello everyone, a curiosity. I read this:

We would hope that NICE references the excellent resources and work that the pain community has created to help patients improve their quality of life. Such resources as the Pain Toolkit and Pain Concern’s Navigator tool should feature.

What is it and why does NICE have to approve it?

Else, where can I find NICE's new pain guidelines?

Thank you very much for your kindness

Hi there, I don’t know where you will find the NICE information you are looking for but the Pain toolkit idea is something that is taught on pain management courses and in advice given at pain clinics. It is a very useful idea, I can only imagine that maybe pain clinics etc are hoping NICE will reference something like this now they have suggested not prescribing certain pain relief for chronic pain.

Hope this makes some sense x
