Hi, does anyone know if I can form a support bubble for my parents to help me with my toddler. My fibro is having a resurgence.

Depends on what Tier you are in, also you can order test from gov website and do a home test for all of you, not toddler. You get results back really quick, and then if negative, abs not in tier 3-4, you should be ok. Good luck.

Thanks but it doesn't actually state childcare assistance for adults that need help due to medical reasons. Thanks anyway

I know but it says what are within the rules for tier 4 but as your needs are specific to you I think you have to make your own judgements as to what to do or not. My daughters and I are bending the rules very slightly but we are only tier 2 so not as crucial.

Good luck and hope it works out for you 😊

I would suspect that childcare in this case may come under providing support for a vulnerable adult.

I think you have to judge for yourself and do what you feel safe with. Lots are recommendations and not actual laws. As already stated tests are available. I cared for my 4 grandchildren after school whilst my daughter attended a funeral. We took lots of precautions and I was probably safer than when I visit a supermarket. I am in tier 3. Good luck ✨🎄

Yes child care is OK even if in tier 4 👍😊

As others have said you need to work out the risk for yourself. You say your husband works, does he do a job where he is in contact with lots of people? How old are your parents, do they have medical conditions? Are you, or your parents, forming 'bubbles' with anyone else?

In all this talk of tiers, rules and bubbles we should not lose sight of why we are doing this, and make decisions based on keeping ourselves and our loved ones safe.

I am so sorry you are suffering a fibro upsurge, these times are so hard for all of us and so much harder when you cannot get the help you need.

Yes, if you need help. The ‘rules’ are guidelines and as has been said you fall in to several acceptable categories. Stay safe x
