Looking for... help? Thoughts? Anything really

Hey Everyone, it’s been quite a while since I’ve posted here. Not sure if this is even the right forum as I have so many illnesses I never know which one is flaring up but GP seems to think this is a Fibro flare up so here i am.

Just going to get the basics out of the way so you all know what I’m dealing with. I’m a 21 year old woman that is currently suffering from:-

-Anemia

-Anxiety

-BPD

-Depression

-Endometriosis

-Fibromyalgia

-Gastroparisis

-Polycystic Kidney Disease

Medications:

Amatryptaline

Cocodamol

Fluoxetine

Omeprazole

Buscopan

Vitamin D Tablets

I was able to somewhat cope with all this thanks to my beautiful best friend and therapy do, who I tragically lost in July. Since then, I’ve gotten so bad that I was placed on suicide watch, sedated, and required therapy. I’m still self harming and still feel suicidal.

Well, since Sunday morning I’ve been getting severe chest and stomach pains that shoot through to my back. I was prescribed morphine as I usually am for my severe endometriosis and fibromyalgia flares. However, today the pain got so bad I passed out and I just really don’t feel well at all. Not sure what to do or anything really, I don’t want to bother the Hospital with a flare up but I really just don’t feel right. I’m having horrible cold sweaty feelings, still feel faint, and just well, ill. I took one of my sedatives and it’s only because of that I’m able to type this right now. When I awoke from passing out I could barely see my phone because of the pain I was in. I know there’s nothing any of you can do but I guess I’m just, I don’t know, wondering if anyone has experienced this before? I’ve never felt like this before...

Sorry you are feeling so tough at the moment. If pain is so bad you are passing out, then it sounds like you need to be seen - at the very least I would suggest phoning 111. Hope it eases off soon xxx

Hi Wanheda242 - I'm so sorry about what you're going through. I have been in so much pain before that I have been physically sick, but I would suggest you ring your GP to discuss both your passing out & suicidal thoughts. Are you receiving any continued help for your mental health?

It might be something you've already been advised about, so please forgive me if you already know, but you can ring the Samaritans on 116 123 or email jo@samaritans.org (to get a reply in 24 hours).

You can also text 'SHOUT' to 85258 Please see: giveusashout.org/

If you feel in immediate danger, please ring 999 & ring for an ambulance, or go to your local hospital's Accident & Emergency unit.

Please don't feel you're bothering any Dr with your concerns; that's what they're there for when you feel so ill.

Are you with anyone, doesn't sound like you be on your own? I think you should speak to someone about that amount of pain, you probably know the drill better than anyone but someone should phone your Gp at least. I'd never go if people didn't push me there.

Wow!

I don’t quite know what to say... i feel bad that you are suffering so badly with ALL of that. And you’re only 21! No wonder your mental health is suffering.

I have endometriosis. It started at about 13. I used to pass out at school and i was so embarrassed. Thankfully i was able to take various contraceptive pills for years. Then when they stopped working i had Prostat injections for a year, followed by the Mirina coil. I haven’t looked back! (Don’t go to your GP. Go to your nearest G.U.M clinic. That’s who got me the expert help i needed!)

The last time i was in unbearable pain was in 2012 when i had bowel cancer and didn’t know. I thank God that i’m still here. However, living post cancer meant living with fibromyalgia and ulcerative colitis.

I may not know exactly what you are going through but i know ‘passing out’ kind of pain. ..

If the GP can’t help you s/he needs to send you to specialists in each of those fields. I’m wondering that if one or two of your conditions can be tackled then it is that little bit less pressure on your body and soul

Losing your friend (and confidant) i can only imagine, is more harrowing than you can cope with. Are you getting bereavement Counselling?

I don’t have many solutions i’m afraid but i really feel for you. I only hope each one of us can offer some level of emotional and advisory support.

CB 🤗🕊

Just a thought... for some people, certain combinations of medicines can cause side effects when in the system. It would be really worth talking to your doctor and saying what's happened. There may be a simple drug change that might at least prevent you passing out.
