Just wanted to say that sometimes things can improve! Having suffered with increasing symptoms over three years I got rushed into hospital with a bleed from my colon. Within 24 hours my fibromyalgia symptoms all but disappeared! I could not believe it!

Since recovering I have started to walk again and have got up to over a mile a day. My yoga practice is so much easier! The crippling fatigue and stiffness is so much improved.

I still have pain and stiffness in my joints which wakes me up in the night and do battle with my ongoing thyroid problems but I feel now that the fibromyalgia is a sort of barometer of my underlying health problems.

I know it it likely to come back if my general health deteriorates so am taking the opportunity to lose as much weight as possible while I have the stamina. Back on the vitamin D as my levels have plummeted again.

Looking after your health is a major time consuming thing but worth the effort!

Just wanted to share.....

Wow Stanley

That’s amazing and a very interesting read, I had let’s just say health complications and two surgeries I thought perhaps that was the cause of my Fibromyalgia, was on morphine etc no Fibromyalgia symptoms mind you was bed bound due to surgery for a while but unfortunately mine has come back with a vengeance.

But this post has given me hope that it may say improve I lost 4 stone and unfortunately can’t do my yoga since August I also take large doses daily of VIT D as my body does not store it.

That’s why I try to keep a healthy body and a healthy mind and thank you for sharing.
