treatment
thanks
Yes and it’s fantastic. Very painful at the time, but gives me relief ( 50% less pain) for over a week.
I go every 2 weeks to a clinic in Glasgow, and the practitioner is amazing. She has helped me loads with reflexology, acupuncture, physio. Between the fascial release and adrenal fatigue diet I feel like a new woman.
Definitely try it.
I had Bowen technique It had no effect on me at all and I can't imagine how it could tbh.
Hi Darrell
Does your practitioner know of a good therapist I could see for treatment,I live in the Barnsley area but could travel to Rotherham,Sheffield or most places in South Yorkshire.
Thanking you in anticipation x
What's it for, what symptom?
Jan Trewartha’s Body Realignment uses fascial techniques and is usually pain-free; finding a trigger point can be an ‘ouch’ but this is transient. (I, the practitioner, am usually the one who goes ‘ouch’ as I feel my clients’ pain.). Treatment should be spaced at least 2 weeks apart as the body continues to adjust for at least 2 weeks after a treatment. Sharon Wheeler’s Scar and Bonework is also amazing. I would not expect to treat a client any more than 2-6 initial treatments and then 1 every 6 months. The healing is permanent unless:
“If you always do what you always did, you’ll always get what you always got.”
My husband tells me that my business model was rubbish as I did not get many repeat clients, other than maintenance, as one treatment would often remedy the problem.
I had regular treatment before being locked down. Expensive, but really helped me.
Jan runs the British Fascia Symposium each year.
Thanks Darrell I will make an appointment as soon as I am able.
Have you had a Body Realignment treatment? I don’t know how many more practitioners Jan is training now in Body Realignment as she is doing a lot of Scar and Bone Work.
In my view having any form of overall body treatment without treating the scar first is not going to do a lot of good. Scar tissue is very strong as it is adhered fascia; deal with the scar before anything else. This should link to the directory of Scarworkers.
Hi yes and very good. I live in Dorset so can only recommend locally to me.
