We don't have that problem here in Wales, as nothing has changed. I do hope that you will still be able to walk your dog at some time during the day. It's a shame that the 'tourists' are not heeding the instructions not to go to beauty spots etc, must be really frustrating for you. But the main thing is stay safe and keep well. x

I saw a picture of Blackpool beach posted yesterday around lunchtime .... And it was packed !!!

I appreciate people are desperate to get out and away from their own for walls (feel exactly like that myself today) but they also need to use some common sense along with it.

We passed the car park to a local country walk yesterday - car park was full and cars parked around road .... Yet in Scotland you are not allowed to drive elsewhere for a walk and should stick to walking where you can do so from home.

That's what I thought just our son is a cleaner at local supermarket in north Norfolk seaside town where we live when he got back said beach was packed and car parks people in crowds not distance these are tourists now coming to the seaside it was wrong to say travel further but its only common sense to keep distance but stay safe 😀

I suspect it will have been similar most places ... Then same people will blame government for letting them go out when the number of cases increase again

I've read a few similar stories of people being stopped on roads into Scotland too.

I think this is happening all over..It makes me fear what covid will be like in 5 weeks when these folks have realized they are sick or they have poss made others ill. Also people are angry not nice as they enjoy their freedom.I wear gloves mask and wash a lot, change my clothes at the door again if I go out.Is there a path you can take your dog and mask up?

I went into one store for needs and I turned around and came right back out and went home.

you are smart to protect yourself and your family and your furbaby...

It is really frustrating (('m on the Essex coast). I find walking during the week when most people are working, and early mornings, are the best time for shielding walks. I don't go out at all over the weekend.

People's behaviour has changed too - acting as if everything is normal and you are the one being odd by maintaining social distancing.

If I could leave the house I'd be on a protest march by now against this criminally negligent government.

Living in a rubbish Midlands town being unable to visit my boat in a lovely coastal spot I find it difficult to sympathise with those lucky enough to be able to have had "beauty spots" all to themselves for these last couple of months.

Whilst I won't be rushing to any crowded beaches now, or ever, I do understand the urge to get out of town when your view from the window is grim.

I don't blame the people who have succumbed to the temptation. I blame the idiots in charge who believe that the economy is more important than the health and wellbeing of our vulnerable and elderly.

Changing the message has changed people's behaviour.

I agree

I too am getting on fine.

That doesn't stop nimbyism being any less annoying than people's stupidity at listening to government advice that quite obviously puts the vulnerable and elderly at risk.

I don't go to beaches and beauty spots but not because it might spoil some local dog walker's peace and quiet.

I don't go because I may put others in danger.

The government should not have lifted lockdown restrictions or changed the message.

I buy food from local farms and so nothing much has changed except they deliver now rather than me going and "wasting" the day petting my future meals.

Supermarket stuff I get from morrisons through the "prime now" app who will deliver the same day usually (if you are near a morrisons)

They don't do chilled or frozen but that isn't a real issue for me.

Being an insomniac I've always walked the dogs at weird antisocial times.
