I've again started to take D-Ribose to help with Fibromyalgia fatigue symptoms (I read a couple of articles saying it helps) and it appears to have been working. I take a scoop in 50mls of water in the morning and evening and have noticed a marked improvement.
I'm curious to find out if anyone else tried this and if it's worked?
Cheers all xx

D Ribose helps me a lot. I take 1g on waking, then a further gram late morning, mid afternoon, and then again in the evening. I have arrived at this level of dosing by trial and error. I don't take it in water; I simply let it dissolve in my mouth.
Alongside the Ribose, and as recommended by certain doctors working with chronic fatigue patients e.g. Dr Teitelbaum in the US, I take vitamin C every day, Acetyl L Carnitine, magnesium, vitamin D, and Ubiquinol.
I think, however, that it is a 'suck it and see' thing. It works for me, and has done for over a decade. I have tried many, many supplements over this period - introducing only one new one at a time and where I'm at now reflects only those which have had a clear beneficial effect.
