Hi guys. So I finally after 8 months waiting have my pain clinic appointment tomorrow. I never went before because I thought that what with there being no cure for this damn Fibro what was the point. My doctor convinces me to go at least once as you never know. So I'm really hoping that something comes of this and if not well at least I can say I tried. Love and gentle hugs to all xxx

Good luck for tomorrow.

When I went after diagnosis, it helped me understand how and why pain receptors in our bodies work. Although it didn't help with my pain, it at least helped me understand a bit better.

Good luck, I hope they help.

They have been absolutely brilliant for me, I have to say I’ve the best experience so far.

I’ve been put on gabapentin and co- codamol and it appears to be helping me and they actually “listen”.

So........doctor i saw was really understanding and mentioned so many different tablets that I have already tried and haven't work so he has taken me off the Tramadol and wants me to start taking Duloxetine and has also given me Mezolar Matrix pain patches. He did make it clear that Fibro can't be cured but it can be managed which I completely understand. If these new pills just take the edge of and help get some sleep then I will be a happy little bunny. I get so paranoid trying out new pills and make myself worse reading the side effects but I'm going to give them a try, I have to cause I can't keep going like this. He is also going to try me on the Lidocaine and Ketamine infusion.

Good luck. They all seem to be very different, depending on where you live. I’d be interested in hearing how yours operates.
