I think the CAB are doing this. Benefits and Work is an organisation where you can get resources to help you, but it’s £20 a year to subscribe.

Firstly go onto the benefits and work site and do a self test for pip be honest with your answer's as the answers written in your application form will have to be justified at your F2F assessment. Read each descriptor and make sure your condition and abilities fit the descriptiors your writing about. Make sure you fully understand the descriptiors and your actual abilities to preform each descriptor safley, repeatably and in a timely manner.

I used benefits & work. I paid £20 and I thought it was money well spent.

CAB is free! I used to work for them & filled out many forms including my own! There is a lot of useful into on the site mentioned above without paying for it! My basic advice is as follows:

Be honest & clear about your problems

Don't fill in the forms on a better day. You probably don't get that many anyway 🙂 think about your bad days & use those examples.

Always answer questions using the question as a base. It's often possible to do something once or twice but not repetively, safely & without pain.

Always photocopy your forms. Keep that copy!!!! You can use it at your assessment.

Ask someone who really knows you to help. You may be overly optimistic, they may see you struggle & say no you can't do that, I've seen you in pain. (My husband did this for me)

When you have finished put it away for a day & then read it again. You may be surprised & need to edit. So it can be a good idea to do a photocopy to do a rough copy first.

Hope it goes well. I received high rate mobility & middle rate care - it's made such a huge difference to me & I have now got a mobility car. .. Freedom 😀
