Failing to see the funny side

Over the years I've managed to pretty much deal with most things this rotten condition throws at me. However, today it has decided to bring out a cheeky little stabbing pain in my left nipple! To say I am not amused is a massive understatement..I am completely failing to ignore this one 😭.

Misty - the oddest thing to see your post first tonight (as I sit with a hot water bottle over my left boob!!!)

I started getting underarm pain 2yrs ago (only recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia) and a few months back started getting pain in a specific area around the nipple. Have had an ultrasound and they are sending me for an mri but reckon the pain is due to fm and not cancer.... if pain persists you’d need to say to your gp and be referred to be on the safe side.

They say evening primrose oil helps, have yet to try it. Me and my left tit empathise it’s rubbish!!

Commiserations as I have had that and other unexplained breast pain. I went through all the checks but apart from a small cyst couldn't find anything wrong and unfortunately put down to my fibro. The specialist said that Agnus Castus helps sums women but it just made me feel nauseous. If it persists do ge it checked out as we mustn't assume that everything we suffer with is caused by fibro. Hope it eases soon.x

Try Evening Primrose oil capsules, 1000mg. They stopped my breast pain.

Thanks Jools. I already take it for my skin. Luckily the pain resolved in a few hours.
