Hi there, nice to meet you. I am also in very bad pain today so can understand how you feel and I'm sure so do all our members.

I have had Fibro for 35 yrs. While having an early night and getting some rest is a good idea when in pain. What I learnt was if possible don't spend too many hours laying in bed. Even if you can't move sitting up in a chair would be a better option. I do hope you feel a little better tmw.

When my pain is really severe, I try and find something to do to try and help take my mind off the pain and distract myself.

This might be listening to an audio book, colouring in, crocheting etc.... Even just watching TV sometimes

Often when you are in pain the last thing you want to do is move, and do something but if you are just lying there you can become more focused on the pain so it feels worse xxxx

Hi Ryanandalex, hope your pain has eased off a bit. Last weekend I was in such pain I could have jumped in front of a bus! The last thing I felt like doing was moving, but I had read that gentle exercise could help. I forced myself to start and was surprised how much it helped. Hugs, 😃🌹
