Hi thanks for the reply gave me diazepan as a muscle relaxant !! 3 x a day spent all day in even more of a fog ( not good ) . I am already on naproxen zapain . Gabapentin I feel like I am taking sweets not pain killers . I am also taking antidepressants due to family issues . Wishing you a good day . X

Hi I am on pre gablin which is better than gabapentin because it crosses the blood brain barrier easier with less side affects.Ask your go to let you try it.It has improved my sleep and my restless leg syndrome.Hope it goes well

I suppose they thought the Diazepam might work as it hopefully would relax the muscles but unfortunately in your case it just doesn't seem to have worked. I have found when I have that pain that freeze gel has helped a little, others have found heat helps. I also try to stretch the muscles myself by doing some exercises including stretches that were given me by an NHS physio. If this persists it might be worth asking for a referral. Acupuncture can also help in some cases. I do hope you find something that works. Quite a few people including myself find that Pregablin (Lyrica) helps more than Gabapentin. Often doctors prescribe Gbapentin as it is cheaper to prescribe. let us know how you are.x

Thank you. I’m currently seeing a professor who just wants to do all the same tests that I’ve had done before, these have all proved negative results in the past, needless to say I don’t hold any hope out another lot would be any different.
