Maybe get back in touch with whoever you are seeing for your treatment,G.P or pain clinic and explain that it’s affecting your walking, you may need to do less or need pain relief to help?

Hello. I can understand how this effects your walking. There were days when I couldn’t walk up the road. But I just kept going although it was painful and just rested when I could. I used a cream which helped. I found it worse in damp or wet weather.

Hope this helps you.

Maybe your not quite ready for these exercises? Maybe speak with your GP or cut back on your exercises, your body needs to get used to things gradually

Best wishes

Do a quick search on ‘pacing and chronic pain’ or ‘spoon theory’ :)

It’s a critical life skill with fibromyalgia. Only limited help from dr’s (even the good ones), meds, etc.

Rest well and find the pace your body needs. Pray for wisdom and patient endurance, as I do for you now. Sincerely, Harmony2

Hi I’m new here as well, I have problems walking I had to plan my route so I could use walls or seats to rest, recovery time is much longer now ☹️ So I stay in my home and garden , I get really worried if do go out that there will be somewhere to sit.

I have an appointment at connect health

Tomorrow , it’s my first group session

Has anyone else been does it work? Have you tried this ? I was given physio but it was to painful ☹️
