i finally had my rheumatologist appointment last Thursday and to my relief the Doctor made feel like he actually cared, i asked if he thought i had Fibro and he said it looks like it, do i take that as a diagnosis???
he sent me for xrays and blood tests, ( which i havent had v results yet) he also has referred me to a nuerophysiologist? does anyone know if this is to rule other things out such as MS? not sure what to expect? any advise would be great.
Hope everyone is well xxx

Hi Shana, I also have been referred to see a neurophysiologist in 2 weeks time. He is going to carry out a nerve conduction test, which I believe is to look for peripheral neuropathy, as I am often experiencing numbness, pins and needles and pain in my toes and feet. Apparently the test involves some small electrical shocks ( ( a slight tingling feeling) to the skin on my arms and legs and is used to diagnose a variety of nerve problems. Hope this helps, if you have any other questions just get in touch again, hope your appointment goes well xx
I was under neurologist for about a year they also did mri and found that I also have other issues with my spine so I am now under the spinal team as well the one I saw was very helpful he also went through everything with my partner as he could see he was very worried about my conditions but without them I would not know about my spinal issues good luck all help is better than no help 😊
