I had been on high rate 4 years, had assessment & was downgraded to standard. Not sure what happened but it went straight to tribunal date TBA. DWP then didn't send paperwork to court but then I had a letter saying they had backed out and had reinstated enhanced rate!
I guess they re read my MR paperwork but who cares so any1 who feels like giving up with it all, Don't as it can all work out eventually xxx

It's good to hear good news, but I'm sorry that you had to go through the process of a longer wait due to the DWP. I hope you have a nice painfree night Rosie xx
I was on low rate DLA in 1994, i was reassessed 4yrs ago got enhanced on one standard on other, i asked to be reassessed as of being diagnosed with fibro depression and anxiety, i lost it all nothing , report had lies n twists they haven't even asked my doctor for medical notes , ESA did n i lass ex support group didnt even need a medical, assessment woman has mentioned about my depression and anxiety in report, im under mental health, iv got a letter of specialist who diagnosed me my local councilor has been round gone through all report and is writing to DWP, hopefully this will help but doubt it as im doing a mandatory reconsideration
Sounds like the usual DWP confusion. Didn't even attend my last tribunal which found in my favour in my absence.
This was the tactic of claiming to send out appointment letters & having to prove that you hadn't received them. Had to wait 12 months for another wca .
Glad you got reinstated but sad that you had to endure all the stress that went with it.
Thanx but I was expecting downgrade as everyone gets it but I had already contacted them day after assessment to say she didn't ask relevant questions and didn't listen to me at all. I also had it all on CCTV to prove the lies but DWP twisted her words as I asked for both reports & both were different so they had no chance at Tribunal!!!
The same thing happened to me about 6 years ago! But to this day I still remember the traumatic, stressful way it made me feel! I couldn't speak for crying and had to sit down as my body was giving way beneath me, and I couldn't really understand what was going on! The panel took one look at me, read out that the DWP hadn't turned up and the paperwork contradicted itself!! Never stop fighting, it's stressful and sometimes hard, but I am entitled to live my best life now after working for this country since I was 14!!! We're called Fibro Warriors for a reason!!!!!!!
