I asked my doctor for a letter to send to ESA for my back payment as I won my Apeal that was 6 weeks ago and there still haven't done the letter for me what can I do thanks for reading

Was a charge mentioned when you asked? many g.p surgeries now charge a fiver for a letter for benefits, or vaccines or insurances, maybe you could ask to speak to practice secretary about it.

DWP,who administer ESA should have the dates for which benefit is due. Rather than incur a fee, with your gp, why not phone DWP or ESA to clarify exactly what they require to pay you?

I was asked to pay £40 for this... but DWP said they shouldn’t charge...

I would write a letter asking for a letter for your problem as DWP have requested one.
