I have finally received my letter from the rheumatologist which confirmed fibro.
The ACR scores for widespread pain index 10/19 and sympton severity score of 10/12. I did a search in the internet and was wondering if someone could confirm my understanding.
The WPI indicates that I have pain in 10 location out of 19 and the SSS of 10/12 indicates I am ready to be put out to pasture. Is my understanding correct?
Care plan;
Read the booklet about managing fibro, self management, pace activities, simple exercise and simple painkillers if necessary. Released back to my GP. The word simple is actually used twice
Is this type of care plan normal. I don't want anything complicated as I want to continue working but the use of simple seem rather dismissive.
Advise or words of wisdom very helpful.

I’ve posted a link above if you would like to lock your posts does give you and other members more privacy and only our community can see. Take care
