Foot pain

Hi all, I’m a Fibromyalgia and ME sufferer and have been experiencing very bad foot pain for the last few days. Anybody else had this?

yes i have it on top of my foot and my herl on right foot. when i first get out of bed my feet hurt when i stand up. i struggle to walk.

It’s not something I’ve had but I’ve seen people on here recommend soaking your feet in Epsom salts water and rubbing magnesium oil on them.. hope it eases up soon for you xxx

I have fibromyalgia myself an had severe pain in both my feet the Dr diagnosed it as plantar fasciitis (inflammation of the foot) he gave me some simple exercises to do

Yes I too get heel pain and have "hammer toes" I have been told this is under the osteo arthritis field, Ive got a gadget for my toes but rub in voltarol gel into heels.

My feet are so painful it becomes too difficult to walk at times and if I get caught out I get Uber. I Mentioned it to the Rheumatologist and she just shrugged and said its fairly common. One lady I know gets special insoles made specially for her feet. Gel insoles maybe?

Hi I have plantar fasciitis ,that is painful In the heel .I also get pain across the top I also have oestroarthritis in my feet .i have a foot warmer that I sometimes use .i have gel too from doctors that sometimes reliefs it for a little while .hugs xxx

Hello, as others have mentioned if the Pain is under your heel, then it maybe the condition called plantar fasciitis. If you Google " NHS plantar fasciitis exercises" , you will find information about exercises you can do to help improve it. I did these for several weeks and it helped, also you can special heel inserts for your shoes which can help the pressure when walking and I also wear Skechers shoes as they have the memory foam insoles which are very comfortable. Firstly get it checked out by your doctor.

I also get very heavy weight feelings in the soles of both my feet (feels like heavy bricks!) And numbness and tingling in my toes which are symptoms of fibromyalgia.

Never really had any problem with foot pain as such, but I do occasionally get a sort of cramped up feeling underneath the arch of my foot at times, which tends to make me wake with a start in the night.

oh my god, i have foot pain, never had this pain before, getting up in the morning is horrible, feel like ive been running all night in my sleep or something, really achy, i literally feel like an old lady. its kind of easing off, i reckon the cold weather doesnt help. is this a new pain for you?

Hi, I’ve been getting it for a few weeks now so reasonably new. It seems to be worse in the cold and my feet are always cold, I have terrible circulation.

yeah its new for me, i literally come home from work and go to bed, my hands and feet are like icicles 😖😖 i blame the weather! are yours still hurting?? hope you are well xx

Thanks for messaging me, I too am frozen - on the sofa snuggled under a blanket, feeling headachey and quite distressed today after a really bad nights sleep and 2 nightmares 😩. Hope you can get warm. xx

Hi I too get terrible foot pain and pins and needles In some of my toes. I actually look to see if there there if that makes sense. It’s as if I have s hole in my tights that the toes are sticking through and the circulation is not right. I have m.e and fibro and my left side tends to be the weakest. I do get a very swollen right ankle too and I’m terrible if I’ve not had a restful day. I try and put my feet up as and when I can and I usually suffer with cold hands and feet. I’m sure also the cold doesn’t help gentle hugs to all x

Hi im ok for a "While" if not been doing/on my feet but then after a while it feels like my feet have been run over by a truck!

Every step is agony so often just go and hide and that's with Proper gell inserts i dread to think if i'd still had original ones in that they came with?
