Rib pain in upper chest and back

Hi I’m new here I was diagnosed in 2013 with CFS but mainly the exhaustion but lately I’ve started have really sore joints and suffered with upper chest, Neck spasms and they unnerved me so much I took myself to the cardiologist at work who did ecg bloods and chest X-ray all perfect so my GP said it was anxiety but it’s happened again and I feel it’s more physical but I accept the dr feels it’s not heart but I wonder if anyone else suffers with ribs and chest problems with fibromyalgia

Hi what do you mean by neck spasms. Is that when your neck muscles lock or is it when your head moves slightly with a spasm.

Yes, I do too. Dr. detected a little heart murmur but that's all besides chest pain from GERD. I've always thought various pains like that and elsewhere were just Fibro. I've battled it and depression with Duloxetine and Norco for many years, and the fatigue with Provigil (a daytime sleepiness med). It's difficult to say whether other things are wrong. I tried a stress test but my resting heart rate had something that made it a problem to do so unless they did it with drugs and dye which I don't want to. It involves too much and not worth it. I'm 74. Hope you have answers.
