Morning everyone. I am actually on holiday and every night this week I have had horrific sweating where I have to change as pjs are soaked ( as if they have just come out of a washing machine). I do get this at home as well but not every night. I also get sudden sweats mainly on my head during the day where it just runs down my face Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thank you

Horrific sweating
Hi there , are you abroad somewhere warmer than the uk ? Although in Suffolk today was reading 20 degrees so quite warm, I do find with my fibro my body temperature s can change a lot I have long gone past my change, but In general I do feel warmer, I do tend to find I don’t have bed wear on at nite all through the year. I do seem to struggle with the warmer weather as well which is a shame. I know some ladies are leading up to their change and a lot friends still have the hots even after finishing I’m told. I do tend to keep up plenty of fluids that seems to help. Hi, yes yes yes! I started sweating about 3yrs ago having to change my nightclothes throughout the night, also sweating in the day it would just come on me. Also it was different parts of my body some times just my chest or legs or head and neck. So debilitating and feeling like my blood was boiling anyway my doc sent me to a dermatologist who diagnosed me with hyperhidrosis and gave me a drug called pro banthene what a life saver. Sometimes I still have breakthrough sweats but onthe whole I'm so much better and don't have to line up 2 nighties each night! Hope this helps any more questions just ask xxx
i've had the same problem off and on for several years. i hate the thought of takng another medication but sounds like it would be worth it. do you have to take it daily/nights or ?
