Sweating

Does anyone else suffer from severe sweating? I do and it's mainly on my face, where it's visible. A friend suggested I try Odaban, which is a spray to combat this. I have done and I must say I am impressed. You can get it at Boots but only online. Let me know if you try it and if it works for you, or if anyone has any more tips I would be grateful 😊

Wow, never heard of it but will definitely try it.

It's seems I only have to move in the hot weather and I start sweating. Like you, mainly from my face....... my face goes bright red and my hair looks like I just stepped out the shower.

I'm exactly the same! It's awful and can be very embarrassing. It's just like someone turned a tap on, it's that sudden.

I did have severe sweating on my face but it seems to have gone recently, I think it may have been a side effect from sertraline but not sure

Hello GED57

Many thanks for the tip. I know many of us suffer from excess sweating.

Randomly mine only ever happens at night.

There is another good deodorant which is called Mitchum. Most chemists sell it.

Take care of yourself

That's ok but I don't think it's for the face xx

Hello :)

Yes, you're right the Mitchum doesn't just help with your face.

It's just a general deodorant, but it does work really well.

Thanks for the suggestion! What exactly is this spray?

It is similar to a deodorant but you can use it on your face or any other part of the body. You spray where you need it on a night and it should last 24/48 hours

Hi, I've had Hyperhydrosis since I was 14 and I'm 44 now. My G.P. has always prescribed a roll on called Driclor. At first you use it every NIGHT, then you gradually use it every other night etc. I use it once a week now. You only use it under your arms but as time goes on it seems to help with sweating in general. It can sting a bit if you don't follow these instructions. DON'T EVER USE IT JUST AFTER SHAVING YOUR UNDERARMS!!!☺ I hope this helps.
