Its not classed as a disability in UK

But ESA has nothing to do with disability really only whether thay think you are capable of some sort of work or not .

Its not get a discount illness as far as benefits go BUT things change all the time.,if you are trying to get esa coz working is difficult ,I wonder if you are under the care of a physc or similar who could give you written support to claim..maybe look into PIP. ,we have a benefit helper called Janet,ask her if she has advised anyone on this...make yourself w word document of how your illness affects your daily life, when you claim benefit they reKjy wNt detAil of how you are affected I. As far as I know it will come under the umbrella of mental illness. Which in itself is debilitating. If it is classed as a disability itself that I am not sure. I would have thought so.
