I have fibromyalgia my pain has taken over my life. I can't do the smallest of things like lift the kettle to make a cuppa tea.
I'm deppressed at my wits end. Medication just takes the edge off. I spend my days alone in pain. I can't go on anymore like this. I don't have any support. I have overdosed. Taken strong medication but I always wake up

I'm sorry that you are struggling so much at the minute. The first thing I would suggest is to go to your GP and explain exactly how you're feeling. Don't hold anything back. It may be that you need your medication changed or your doseage upped.
If you get so low again that you feel there is no way out please give the Samaritans a call. They will not judge you, but they will listen and let you talk.
You will also find good support here too. Weekends are usually quiet, but there will be more people about tomorrow, who will reply to you. xx
I am the exactly the same way but still hanging in here. There are times that I think about the weapon I have in the closet. I am a little luckier than you as I still have my husband and I am not alone. He does everything. Please don't do anything to yourself. We are here and thinking of you. Do you have family to help? I agree with the other two comments on here.
Hi Tj72 sorry to hear your meds aren't working go back to GP until you get something that helps we all take different meds cos some don't work or have side effects we can't tolerate please don't suffer in silence. Also re lifting the kettle causing you pain is it in your hands /wrists have you been checked for carpal tunnel are authritus splints may help if your getting more pain in your hands ask GP to refer you to hand specialist Hun, I don't think anyone who hasn't had pain in there hands can understand how much it hurts or how dibilitating it is, sending love and hugs and hope you get some relief soon hunny. I know you ve hit bottom Hun it's time to start seeing a rise and some brightness ahead hope you find it soon xxxxxxxx
Hi hun- have you ever been tested for tendonitis? I get pain when I lift or move a slighty heavy object,, even getting dressed and a movement my limbs dont like, at the moment mine is radiating from a tennis elbow that needs injecting. It can sometimes feel like an electric shock up or down a limb- for this I have over the counter anti inflammatories - ibuprofen, pain relief for fibro doesnt always kill all pain even though I have tramadol.
Hi tj-72 go back to your doctors I know things do get bad for a lot of us there must be some meds out there that will help you tell the doctor exactly how you feel don't give up take care of yourself.
