Son’s Wedding

I would like to thank all the lovely people on this site who encouraged me, offered advice and were so kind to me when I was having an awful flare last week. I just want you all to know that I made it to my son’s wedding. Not only that but I had a wonderful time. The whole day was amazing from start to finish. Yes I was in pain but I was well and happy and was just so grateful for somehow getting out of the flare. I will have another flare no doubt but I’m really going to try and manage this condition better. It’s all about the pacing which we all find so hard but perhaps we need to encourage each other. I am so grateful to the lovely people here who always try and help others. Please all - never give up hope because without hope we have nothing. Love to you all. Xx

Thank you , Lynne. It was such a special day. I felt so dreadful the day before that I couldn’t believe how good I felt on the day. All the lovely texts from here kept me feeling positive that I could manage the day and I did! I hope that you have as good a day as possible . Xx

I'm so pleased for you.

I bet your so was thrilled that you made it.

It's my niece's 21st birthday party on 28th July, I will do my utmost to make it , it's not half as long as a wedding, I think you did so well.

I've got a few conditions like the majority of us all, it does take its toll on you doesn't it? Take care love and hugs Lynne xxxx

I do hope you make your niece’s party. I think it’s the stress wondering if we’re going to manage that makes it worse. Try to have as relaxing and calming a week as possible. Just think that you are going to make it and have an escape plan if you are really struggling. That’s what I did and ended up not needing the escape plan. This week will have to be very slow for me ( recovering ) . We can think about each other. 👭x
