Are people finding they are in a lot more pain at the moment. Plus today extra bad for anyone.

My fibo has been really bad now for about 6 weeks. Same time we have had this heat wave

All down my arms .really bad at the top of my arms at the shoulders.

I'm on a morphine patch 5mg everyhour . Topping it up with ibuprofen

That's just my pain medication.

Advice would be great please

Hi claire-Lou 🤗🌸🌿🦋

Yes I have been really flaring with the heatwave too. I’m not able to take pain meds due to GI complications so it makes it really difficult to endure it all. I’m barely mobile and suffer with edema as well.

I’m sooo sorry you are suffering dear. I hope you find relief soon.

Take care and bless you.

my pain levels are generally better in the heat - with the exception of my leg/feet for some reason. however, where i am really struggling is with the fatigue. xxx

I too am suffering; for me it isn't the heat, it is the humidity in the air which is the problem. What works for me is to eat cool or cold foods, wear minimal clothing, and spray myself with a plant mister while sitting in a room with a fan. Keep curtains and windows closed on the sunny side of the house, as the hot air will make it worse. If you have a shaded patio it might help to sit there. If like me, your feet swell, keep them raised as much as possible. Ice creams and chilled fruit salad are a definite bonus!

Hello hun from Nurse gladys emanuel (open all hours) although I must admit I have been closed with wimbledon on!! Can you swim hun? could you find a local pool that has jacuzzi get yourself in there and soak in the warm bubbles, better stil try to join a hydrotherapy group for specialist help with the right excercise, I always find a soak in warm water does the trick,, keep an eye on any swelling on legs and arms and report to gp we mustn,t blame everything on fibro
