David's long awaited appointment with eye hospital finally came round yesterday

Both his GP and optician had convinced him it was cataract in one eye. He was equally convinced it felt like an eyelash which wouldn't shift causing pain and soreness.

I'll give you one guess who was right...yup...David.

Verdict? Entropion

A condition I have come across many times in dogs but never in a human.

Yet another pain to cope with but one that is treatable.

Now wait for operation date.....manyana

Entropion is where the eyelid actually curls under and causes pain and damage to the cornea.. Cataracts aren't painful!!

Thankfully he has received the correct diagnosis in the end and it is something treatable. Fingers crossed he won't have to wait too long for the op. As Hidden says, our bodies often tell us exactly what is wrong, we just have to hope our doctors listen properly when we pass on the information. x
