Blood pressure hike - Duloxetine?

Hi - after the standard chequered experimentation with meds I have settled into a good place with just 30mg of Duloxetine.

For the first time in my life I have higher blood pressure - I have Ehlers Danos Syndrome and it’s always been spectacularly low until now.

does anyone else have this?

TIA for any insight

😊

Hi - as someone else with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, I know what you mean by normally having a very low blood pressure. I'm not on Duloxetine, but would suggest you consult with your GP/specialist as to the cause of your increased blood pressure.

That's interesting Ellenindigo. I'm on 20mg of Duloxetine (which isn't helping). Did you get any particular symptoms for your high blood pressure? Mines normally low too but not because of anything in particular. It's so hard with fibro to work out why you feel rubbish and what is causing what. I generally just ignore everything and battle through, until I cant 🙄 x

Just reading your post, have you contacted your doctor yet? Hopefully your surgery will have seen you and got to the bottom of what’s making your BP higher, I am on duloxtene and have been for nearly 6 years now. It’s good if we find something that helps the condition of Fibro x
