Hello Lottie well there are plenty of members to help you here What medication are you currently taking , we’ve all been through the medication trail to see what bed , I’m happy for as you can still get out walking your dog as and that can only bring happiness 🙂

Hi Lottielousie, and welcome to the forum.

There are various different medications that can be tried, and sometimes it's a case of trial and error to find what combination and what dose works best for you. xx

I take oxycodone for my fibro pain even though doctor says it is not for that, but it works for me. I also take Lyrica for my severe diabetic neuropathy and it works well.

Hi there welcome I hope you enjoy getting to know our members , people are very helpful and always ready to share their advice and little tips. Ahh lovely you have dogs I’m envious I’d love a dog but hubbie was broken hearted when we lost our family dog awhile back, one day though . I think with medication it is very much trial and error until you get something that helps, I’m currently on duloxtene 60mg@ 15mg 4x times a day codiene which I know is no high so I am seeing doc this weds for catch up I think these 2 meds just take the edge off the pain. Have you had an appointment lately with your gp ? , ( if you would like to lock your posts you normally find members will respond more as only our forum can see and not open to any other site engines on the internet) look forward to seeing you around xxxxx

Thanks for your reply It does break your heart when you loose a dog doesn't it ,we've always had two at a time so never not had any when we loose one. I've got to go back to doc's in a couple of weeks on 100mg gabapentin 3 times a day apparently it can go as high as 600 mg . Hope you are as well as can be . Xxxx
