Just need to sleep.

Feeling really sorry for myself tonight and just need some fibro friends, I’m soooo tired but my legs are going mad like electric shocks going up and down, and my backs going into spasms, I’m in so much pain even after taking paracetamol, tramadol, amitriptyline, and pregabalin, has anybody been given any morphine tablets: patches for their fibro, my doc says it’s not given to fibro patients??. And has anyone used cbd oil.does that help or not, I’m up for trying anything, because I feel like Ive just had enough to be honest, I miss the old me I don’t want to live in pain for the rest of my life.its just to much..

Morning, hope you got some rest.

I'd be worried taking so many drugs... Tramadol was the worst drug I've ever been prescribed and definitely did not help me with any sleep.

I'd ask for a complete, holistic review.

I went cold turkey and was bad for a 5/6days, but so much better without drugs.

Good luck

I’m withdrawing from drugs at the mo . Went cold turkey with amitriptyline because of what I heard on tv 📺 it causes 30% more chance of dementia shocked me been on it 20 years . X🤗😇

I'm sorry you're in so much pain. I take nortriptyline at night, I also take tramadol, but I use the slow release version which I find works so much better along with paracetamol, but I don't take it every day, only when I really can't manage. I've been using CBD oil, drops under my tongue & I'm finding it very helpful, I got mine from CBD brothers. I also use wheat pads you heat up in the microwave, TENs machine & Epsom salt baths to help. I also do some exercise every day, however gentle as it really does help. Take care.

I just read ur story and i was just gona suggest cbd oil.

I have been using it since January and it amazing stuff if u get the descent stuff if u dont it useless.

I buy mine from the netherlands and it is expensive but it good and i have tried some that just made no difference whatsoever.

The restless leg and lack of sleep was my major problem and alot of joint pain and i more or less can get a good 6-8 hours now and im walking alot in day now ( aswell as work full time).

I buy mine from cbdsense it £60 for 10ml and i put 4 drops under tongue morning and evening at first for month now i do 2 morning and evening! It fab stuff if used right and if good

Thank you, it’s people like you that make me feel much more positive, I’m defo going to investigate that. Xx

Aghh thats nice, well we should all help each other out.

It hard but i also think gentle exercise helps. Im a firm believer in healthy mind healthy body and if i cant get out and at least walk or do yoga im miserable and more miserable i am the worse i feel.

I have been out today to work and walked 5.3 miles there and back and i ache big time but would i not do it ... no !!!

If u dont use it u lose it and my body actually aches more if i dont move.

It called cbdsense and the actual oil is called medihemp 10% oil 2500mg. It strong stuff but u get no effects apart from a pain relief and anti imflammatory. I do take a paracetamol a few times now and again .

I also take glucosamine it a natural way to make ur joints healthy and rejuvenate to but u must take between 1500-3000mg a

Day to make any difference

Oh I’m praying they work for you keep me up to date., I’ve had 3hrs sleep tonight that’s about the norm.

It sounds like you have RLS my friend it’s the pits I too suffer with this horrible horrible disease sometimes when it’s really I have full body RLS and that to is horrible . Morphine patches are given to fibro patients many on here have had them . CBD oil can be good for many, I take it when I’m desperate but I believe you have to work up to get maximum benefits for you have to take it a few hours before bed because it can have an effect of waking you but my friend uses it and he does good on it.

Just remember your not alone we are all here for you so chin up . I think if you can get a hobby it’s a great distraction what you must not do is sit concentrating on how bad you feel , it will not help you so where you can get out and about , do things you love and rest when you can’t . Love and hugs 🤗🦋😊😘🦋😇

Thank you kind friend.

I know how hard it can be and especially if your having RLS as well it’s the pits. Another thing that is good for pain not RLS is magnesium spray you can buy that at H.....d and B....t if you can’t work that out pm me it’s goid if you can get it on the penny sale so you buy one get on for a penny you can get CBD oil on there too . Love and hugs xx🤗🤗🦋💕😇

Hi there. Like you i take the same medication. I don't understand why your gp has said he can't give you morphine tablets or patches. As i take morphine tablets at 30mg x2 3 times a day an also morphine patches called fentyal the dose being 75 mcg. which i wear for 3 days then change them. I'd go bk to your gp and ask again. Good luck hope you get somewhere.. Be nice to know how you get on. 🤞

Thank you for your reply, do you have fibromyalgia?...I also have osteoarthritis but the doc still won’t give me morphine, it would brill for me if only on occasions when I have to be really busy,

Reply

Hiya yeah i do also have fibromyalgia have suffered for many years but finally got a diagnoses about 2 year ago. My morphine tablets are for break through pain with the patches . Are u in the UK.

Reply

Yes I live in Gloucestershire, I’m so in need of morphine tablets too for break through pain. I’m going to take these msgs to my docs and say to her look how many of my fibro friends are given morphine, see what she says to that.x

Reply

Yeah u do right taking and showing it to ya gp. Yeah when your in so much pain it's so frustrating when they don't work properly.Could u not ask for a second opimion and see a different doctor. Have u thought about trying cbd oil. Xx

Reply

CBD oil is defo something I’m going t o investigation, a lot of my msgs have been suggesting that. My daughter keeps telling me to move docs, but if she doesn’t listen and help me then I will defo change docs.xx

Reply

Yeah i would defo seek a second opinion you have every right too. One thing i will say is if you do try cbd oil have a hot drink at hand too get rid of the taste as it's rank. The first time i tried it i nearly threw up. As u put it under your tongue for a few minutes. I got mine from Holland and Barrett but you can buy it elsewhere. Keep me informed on how ya get on. Xx

Hello so sorry to hear you are in so much pain it’s miserable. I take oramorph. But only keep it for when pain is really bad, as if you take it regularity you have to keep upping the amount you take.

Reply

I think that’s what my doc is worried about, the upping of the dose, she said after morphine there’s nothing left.but it would only be when it’s really bad and especially so if I have to go to family functions etc because most of the time I’m in so much pain I just stay home.

Reply

hi skyla2,i'm really sorry to hear your in s much pain my gp as given me morphine patches 25mg put two on at a time......they do work for me but I take other painkillers aswell including morphine by mouth...I think you need to visit your gp and tell them the pain you are in...all the best to you take care

Hi hope your pain gets better soon.i do get fentynal patch it can help a wee bit .you may need some tweets with meds .like stopping tramadol and increasing pregablin .(just an exsample)have you tried diazepam for short period that helps spasms with bed rest usually 2 to 3 days .never tried oil do not fancy it .your meds should be for your pain not diagnoses he is right with the likes of oramoth maybe but you could get patch with low dosage .have you seen a pain nurse or specialist for tweets .just some ideas for you .amitriptyline is usually last thing at night for sleep if not working you could stop and try something else .hope you get better soon

Reply
