No spoons no chocolate...

Had one of those days where I overestimated my spoons and hit a brick wall. Didn’t even have any chocolate to make myself feel better! I did however find this meme thing on my Pinterest and thought I’d share it on here, made me laugh!

Managed to go out last Friday to a giant ball pit with my gal pals! I even adjusted my meds to allow myself a couple of cocktails. Let me tell you the flare up is a killer but it was worth it to have an evening full of laughter and fun. It was just 4 of us and a joint birthday do with my friend. Wanted to do something youthful and although the consequences are dire (can’t I just be anaesthetised until the flare up goes away?!) it was fab.

Hope you all had a decent Monday and remember... always have an extra stash of comfort food! Mine is usually crispy M&Ms or Oreos...

Ahh fellow spoonie, it's worth the odd over estimation to forget and feel relatively normal for a while. The fibro sprite however does demand payback big time for us straying from the straight and narrow but what the heck once in a while why not, we are human after all. Can't join you in the comfort foods though - mine has to be either fruit or gluten free, sugar free sweets (which are actually not that bad). Glad to hear you had some fun. Now go and re-count those spoons ready for tomorrow! Onwards and upwards :)

No spoons, no chocolate? What a fibro disaster!! I too discovered the pinterest page. Cheered me up no end giggling and knowing there are others like me. Reckon that makes me a bad person hey? Wouldn't wish fibro on anyone.

I'd settle for the meds side effect of actually killing some pain!
