Hallo sammejayne. Have you been diagnosed with fibromyalgia? Are you on any medication? Do you have any other illness which might be causing your symptoms? It helps to look at the whole picture.

You have quite a few symptoms all at the same time, any one of which could be caused by fibromyalgia. There are also other causes for them and I do think that the safest thing would be to go and see your doctor.

Since it is now the week end I would rest as much as you are able and get an appointment with your doctor on Monday.

It would be a good idea to lock your posts so that only peeps on the forum can read them.

Stay warm and take care of yourself. Anna x

Right, well you have to give it time to act as with any medication. What is the dosage?

It is worrying I know when something just hits you out of the blue. Try to keep calm relax as much as you can. Your doctor was obviously not concerned that your symptoms indicated something serious which is good news. Rest this evening and take your medication before you go to bed. I hope you will wake up tomorrow feeling much better. x

Hi. Time to see your GP again; I hope you are able to get an appointment soon. The Amitryptiline will help with your anxiety and you could use the time to try a relaxation tape, buy one or borrow one. It reduces the stress if you let it. Your GP could refer you to a rheumatologist, even a speaking therapy, both of which could be helpful too .Sorry you're having such a difficult time. Chin up and take care of yourself. Love and hugs, Anna xxx
