I don't know how to up load a photo to this question so I have put it on my profile picture. Does anyone tell me why my feet go this horrible colour and show I be worried. The colours are all over my lower legs as well
I hope someone know what it is and how to put it right. My foot was neither hot or cold

hi...never take chances with your health pet...if you haven't a walk in center I would go to the chemist and ask the pharmacist,as they are as good as a doctor.at least that way they will advise you correctly...or ring the NHS help line...unless someone on here is a doctor I would go straight to someone who knows what they are talking about...let me know how you get on pet xxx
My legs go a very similar colour to this when I sit or stand in one position for too long, my GP assures me it is caused by poor circulation because I am not very mobile, however, everyone is different, and I would strongly agree with pondminstrel and get some medical advice as soon as you can, dont take chances, definitely ring NHS direct, if nothing else, just so that they can maybe put your mind at rest.
Im sure it will be nothing serious, but, again, repeating what pondminstrel has said, dont take any chances with you r health. Take Care xx
hi caroline, I completely agree with both pondminstrel and snicky, I think you should either contact your GP or take yourself off to A&E, the discolouration of your foot is not normal and I would be worried that you are not getting sufficient blood supply to the area and this is potentially dangerous. Do let us know how you get on and I'm sending healing positive vibes your way.
Hi, thank you all for your answers, not really felt well enough to go anywhere today, but I will find someone tomorrow. I guess you will all be right and it's just something to do with circulation
I was just get worried as been ill all week and found out on Tuesday from heart echo my heart is impaired! Just sometimes it just all gets too much and all I have done is sleep for the last couple of days as as soon as I do something I feel too sick, sweaty and dizzy so I lay down and go to sleep. My other daughter is coming home from uni tomorrow and I will find someone with her
Hiya, my toes and feet look just like yours, They go purple/black/red, swollen, painful but numb if that makes sense. I went to my GP she said it was my arteries closing up, really scared me. She sent me to a specialist who said my arteries are fine, blood is pumping down my legs ok, but the little blood vessels that supply the toes are blocked. There is nothing they can do, I have to look after my feet and toes because they wont heal right.
But, as been said, all of us are different. Please go to see your GP. Let us know how you get on xxx
hi carolinne, when i saw your profile i honestly thought it was my foot in front of my eyes. That is what happens to the foot i cant walk on, it swells up to the point that the ankle bone cannot be seen and its purple and when pressed the whiteness takes alot longer than it should to return to the colour it was. I wonder what this could be did you find out ? xx
Hi, no sorry I am still trying to get an answer, I have had to have MRI of bits of me along with blood tests for things I have never heard of. I do know my blood tests have shown that the inflammatory markers are raised ( no surprise there, I spend half my like with one or another bit of me swollen ) also my CK is high ( this shows I have inflammation within the muscle )
The treatment for the latter is high dose streriods over a long period of time. After talking with my GP we are going to leave off starting the steroids till after we get all the results and I have seen the rhemy dr. I don't want to take the steroids unless I have to. I have got bad asthma and I have taken loads of streriods over the years and I am worried what effect they are having on my body.
As to my every changing colour I will have to wait till and to see the rhemy dr as my GP doesn't know what to do about it. I will post on here once I have an answer
