Hi everyone ,I was given a tiny tin of tiger balm by a lovely shopkeeper. I was advised to rub this on my temples (be careful not to go near your eyes like I did! at first).
It is supposed to relax you & aid sleep. I am totally sleep deprived so was worth trying and no horrid side effects to concern myself about .Guess what ? It is actually helping .

Sorry sent it before I’d finish it 🤔🤪😂. So it’s good that I don’t need to take this for a change. Do you know if it’s safe to use with medication though? Sorry, I just wanted to check that before I bought some xx
Can you ask the pharmacist where your meds are dispensed? They'll have a full list of what you have, and you can get a list of Tiger Balm's ingredients online. Putting the two together will allow the pharmacist to see if there could be any problems. ( I don't think there will be as it just uses natural stuff, but I'm no expert !)
That's what I thought too , and the so called tablets they have prescribed me make me so ill and this is just an ointment with a lovely relaxing smell .
Although logically I can't see what could interact and cause a problem, you do get odd things. People who take statins can't drink grapefruit juice as they don't interact well together.
I find my local pharmacist is more knowledgeable ( and a lot more helpful ) than my GP.
