I am 55yrs of age @ had fibro confirmed 2yrs ago. I also have severe Gout (16yrs). Which complicates things. I gave up work last September as I just couldn't get motivated. I went to my doctors n was given meds to take. Now on 'Sertaline' as well as Naproxen, Febroxustat, Pregabalin, Lansaprazole, laxido & Paracetamol.

Hi Jubellie1 I am sorry to hear you suffer from fibro and gout - not a pleasant combination at all. However you have come to the right place to receive lots of help and support from our friendly members so welcome to the forum. There is also plenty of useful information and links on our main site so you may like to take a look at this:

I notice you haven’t locked your post. You don't have to but many of our members are not too keen on responding to unlocked ones therefore you are likely to receive more replies if you do, as it stops the whole thread being read by internet search engines. Instructions on how to do this can be found on the link below but if you get stuck please don’t hesitate to ask for help.

Sorry to hear this. I have stopped taking Pregabalin for my Fibro as it was affecting my memory. However taking paracetamol and Ibuprofen helped with my Fibro.

I have the 'Brain fog' a lot of the time but not sure this is just the meds or a combination of the meds plus the condition.
