Any good tips for coping with severe exhaustion. It’s got to the point where I darent even cook because as soon as I sit down I’m asleep....I’m just so tired that I fall asleep on the train back from work and miss my stop all the time. I think my cat thinks I’m an inanimate object most of the time.....eg I cooked a curry yesterday under supervision and today I’m so tired I can’t even get out of bed.....
Any tips on how to deal with this?

Hi Hun, have you checked what medication you’re on as that may also be contributing to your extreme exhaustion. I was on a higher dose of duloxetine and I ended up sleeping so much. I’m now on a much lower dose. Just a suggestion hun xx
Your body might be telling you to slow down and pace yourself more carefully. Perhaps your lifestyle is making too many demands on your poorly body? Just a thought.
It could be lots of things. Too high a dose of something can make you sleepy...or being to low in vits/mins. Sometimes during a flare I feel so tired that it makes me feel sick...I could sleep on the floor. Have you had your iron levels checked...and vitamin D? I hope you feel better soon. It's horrible. X
Hello I have been the same since I had the flu at Christmas, I have been diagnosed with Extreme Viral Exhaustion, I have been told it will take a long time to get fit again. Today I have been unable to get out of bed with sheer exhaustion, I have been told not to do anything but rest, my oh was with me so he understood, he has been wonderful, he cooks the dinner everyday, I cannot do much at all. I would advise you to go and see your GP. It's so frustrating and very hard to explain, if you look it up it will explain what symptoms you get, all the best, take care love pammie xx 🐞🐞🐞
