Hi there I hope someone out there can help me. I’ve been suffering from headaches for the past month and insomnia. But sometimes when I am out shopping or something it’s like I can’t focus, my head feels really fuzzy and it actually feels like I’m in a dream.... then I start panicking because I don’t know what’s wrong. I’ve also been getting pins and needles going down my legs and arms often. I have been referred to neurology by my GP but I still haven’t heard anything and I’m really worried. Has anyone had these symptoms before.

Headaches, Feeling Fuzzy, pins and needles, tiredness
Are you diagnosed with fibromyalgia? These symptoms sound like me on a bad day. I didn’t used to get the pins and needles but these have developed more as a symptom recently. The headaches and other symptoms you describe are everyday for me too...perhaps a visit to the rheumatologist would benefit you whether you already have a diagnosis or not. Also, though it sounds simple, make sure you are taking vitamin D. I hope you can find something to help. X
The headaches are my main fibro symptom and the fuzziness /dizziness is my signal to stop what I'm doing, because I know I'll only feel worse.
However, until you've had a diagnosis of fibro you can't assume you have it. Have you had a full blood test lately ? Pins and needles are often a sign of B12 deficiency and even if your level is deemed normal by a dr ( I.e within range) you can still have symptoms if it's low. I had dizziness, hand tremor, terrible anxiety, tinnitus and pins and needles then numbness in my feet and fingers. My B12 was low but within range so my GP wouldn't treat me. I sought advice from the Pernicious Anemia forum here on health unlocked, treated myself and the symptoms disappeared or improved. Unfortunately I was then diagnosed with Fibro as the fatigue and joint/ muscle pain got worse but I tell my self I could be a lot worse if I hadn't treated my B12 deficiency.
If you've had blood tests, get a copy of the results and check your result against the range given in brackets after your result. You can always ask on the Pernicious Anemia forum for help interpreting your results. Low B12 does not mean you have P.A, anyone can have B12 deficiency without having P.A.
