Ok, thanks, the voltarol plasters dont work for me... even my morphen patches with tramodol... only takes away the sureface of the pain . But at the moment I can’t lift my arm up in a certain way it feels so heavy like It’s hanging off a bone .. sorry I can’t even describe it properly.
Listening to your description of the pain and movement I recently had a treatment for calcium crystal deposits in my shoulder, if its not that serious then can you tolerate kenalog steroid injections in to the bone? Many g.ps can administer this nowadays ask your receptionist (ours is know as Cruella de Ville) if there is a gp who does this in the practice..
I had an appointment at the hospital yesterday complaining about how my pain has worsened and was told to book CBT online and try n follow you tube yoga to strengthen n stretch my back to prevent bad posture .
I’ve tried yoga n it triggers off my spasms ... totally nightmare
Yes I was fobbed off with "Try aqua aerobics" I settled for hydrotherapy each week, I now pay for each session but I would go evryday if I could. I understand about posture, i found i could correct myself in the warm water hydro pool , if you can get some hydro you will have a physio in the water with you until they feel you can go it alone..
I was assessed to have hydro therapy and unfortunately my body decided to Mis behave with spasm pain n the Physiotherapist said although they would harness me into the water they don’t think it’s safe for me to be in there with these spasms
I feel like I go around in circles with this illness...
My Physio therapist says to just slowly build the muscles in the back and shoulders and arms to support the arms. I was having tendinitis in my shoulder and pain radiating up and down my arm as well as carpel tunnel and ulnar tunnel and so I had started to hold my arm very still to prevent more pain and they said if I had kept at it and not gone in to see the Dr when I had and gotten the physio that I would have ended up with a frozen shoulder which is even more painful to heal and takes longer. I do fairly easy exercises with the bands they gave em and a yoga ball and weights (small ones, just 1-3 lbs) every day and it really seems to be helping. Admittedly on a bad day I feel like that is all I can do and I have to be careful to only do the usual amount on a good day so I don't overdo it and make myself more sore after. Other than that make sure you support your arms when you need to hold anything up for a long period of time and check in to ergonomics for prolonged computer use etc.
Oh dear you poor, poor thing, I have exactly the same in my Right arm, try resting your arm on a pillow, it can help a bit, also heat like a water bottle. I have never heard of the voltarol patches but I intend to ask about them,, good luck, love pammie xx🐞🐞🐞
just to say again 1945611939 VOLTAROL PLASTERS not heatpads or patches they are not cheap so ensure to get correct ones,, online to Boots to order 2 or 5 and collect from them 2 days later.. they put up a little questionnaire to fill in first as each plaster has 140mg of voltarol (most other pain pads are very weak) hope they work for you Im ordering some more today.
