Just wanted to share with you all my experience .
When 4 months ago my legs just stopped working properly I could barely walk, and from the knee down my legs were numb . My doctor from that first appointment said I had fibromyalgia after seeing me for all of a few minutes .... I had to push to get him to refer me to rheumatologist who too said I had fibromyalgia, which just didn't feel right to me .
About 5 weeks ago I see a different doctor and she wasn't happy with my diagnosis either and she actually listened to me ,and sent me with a letter to the hospital the next morning where I stayed in for 2 nights and had 2 MRI Scans.
The outcome was I have 2 slipped disc s with the bottom disc pushing backwards on my spinal cord hence why I can't walk.
I've now been told I don't have fibromyalgia which I always doubted as was diagnosed too quickly .
I'm now waiting to start physio and also to see a spinal consultant, which is going to take months but atleast now I know what I'm dealing with .
My advice to anyone is if you ever doubt your doctor keep pushing for answers as they are not alway right !
Wishing you all a pain free day 😊
