Hello. I am so nervous of starting my new job today I start at 11 till 7 . I don't know how my body will take it. I think the pain of it all is going to let me down. I want this job I want to work full time . Just not sure how to handle it all. I am going to take 2co-codamol before work to settle me down with my back and nerve too. Hope it's works. Any suggestions

Anticipation is all ways worse than the event

Positive head on, you can do this

Thinking of you, and sending hugs and positive vibes to you that you have a good day xx

Not sure I have any suggestions, as I am still psyching myself up to get out of bed due to pain😂 But best of luck, I hope it goes well😊

The first day and week is always the worse even when you are fit. We fear the unknown so tense our bodies up and that causes us more pain so try deep breaths to relax and give those shoulders some shrugs up and down to ease the muscles. You have been through the worst the interview and got the job so they must have taken to you. Just go in with a big smile and sock it to them, you can do it and we are all rooting for you. Let us know how you get on.x

Try not to get yourself worked up about being in pain first of all as this will just stress you out and make you feel worse. Also don't think too far ahead and wonder how you will tackle the day, break the day down and maybe just concentrate on getting through 2 hours at a time. When you get there see if you can identify a quiet place you can go to when you need a few minutes to calm and/or compose yourself if things start getting a little strained. Try not to dwell on things that "might" happen, focus on what you need to do. Starting any new job can be scary and the first few weeks can be hard especially as you have to adapt to your new routine and learn how to manage your condition in your new environment. So don't get disheartened if things don't fall into place straight away. Remember you successfully applied for this job so you are obviously qualified to do it so just believe you can and be positive. Good luck lovely, take care and let us know how you get on. xxx

Try not to worry so much hun; you will be so amazing! I work fulltime and luckily have a really supportive team around me! Try hot water bottles as this really helps me, keep tablets on hand and make sure you get up every now and then and move around a little! Also, speak to your boss if you can and just explain your situation just having someone in your corner can really help 🤗🌹
