It's so strange before I got diagnosed with fibro my pains and aching started off in my pelvic region and ovulation became very noticeable after my son. I would get extremely hot and feel tender/saw that area I kept thinking my knickers felt like they were digging in or tight. I'm lucky in the sense my periods aren't painful yet but the ovulation was the worst so I got pregnant again thinking maybe it would go away and it did!! Then all come back after the birth I've had a lot of stressful events after her and my symptoms escalated I have so many now!! This illness is awful and scary as there is so many symptoms and I have a lot 😣😣

Any ladies have painful or uncomfortable ovulation?
Hi Ashley, I had a hysterectomy 11 years ago now, because I was having painful ,and flippin heavy periods. The pain used to be unbearable , and when I fell pregnant at 38, they found I had fibroids.
I had our son, and at 40 had the operation. They left behind my ovaries ,so each month I still ovulate. I have found that since the hysterectomy, each month I am in real pain when I ovulate. my pelvis gets either a sharp pain or a low nagging pain . I also get a spotty chin !!! at the same side ,each month [ blimey, I hope'd to be over all that by now !! ]
Anyway, I went to the docs yesterday for some results, after blood tests and I am now on HRT
Have you had a scan to check for fibroids?? They are easily dealt with these days, I believe, and I don't think they automatically want to give you a hysterectomy ,although for me, it was the best thing I had done to get rid of the pain each month.
Please have a chat with your doctor about having a scan, it may put your mind at rest.
take care luv Mandy xx
Ashleyw1987 have you ever been told you might have Pelvic inflammatory disease? I had this many years ago after my second child -evry month, I know how painful that is- from memory I went on the contrac pill again and it sorted this pain out-speak to gp maybe a female gp SOME treatments offered are back to back pills so that ovulation stops-speak to a gp soonest-maybe ask for ref to gynae doc.
I get this and was told had pelvic inflammatory disease as nurse Gladys says. It appears to be lessening with menopause, wish the bl...y migraines would go too.
