Does anyone get the feeling of being so uncomfortable, i got dressed this morning, but felt really uncomfortable had to get back in my PJ's. Was not in a great deal of pain, but an hr or so later i was in agony.Every joint and muscle seemed to be painful.

Uncomfortable
yes all the time.i often hurt so much after walking my dogs -I go back to bed .
I live in my PJ's most days to be honest but mainly because I've piled on the weight and nothing seems to fit right anymore
I usually wear baggy stuff nowadays as the slightest pressure of fabric on my skin can cause me to erupt in sores not nice
PJ's are soft and very comfy, if I'm not going out or receiving visitors I stay in PJ's
LOL maybe we could have a pyjama party folks, what do you think?
Not sure about the connection between PJ's and the pain you felt later on, did you exert yourself in any way yesterday? It could be the effects from that kicking in.
Many fluffies on their way to you

I live in mine to Zeb73. I dress only to go out and when I come back home it's straight to the bedroom and on with the pj's, my family call them house clothes lol. They are soft and comfy and also saves a fortune on laundry too It's always nice to know other people understand why we do things isn't it, I don't even dress to receive visitors now, when i'm in my own home they can take me as I am or leave lol
Same here, I find getting dressed/undressed really painful and only get dressed if I really have to and the temperature changes are what my body cannot handle either even if I warm my clothes on the radiator first
Take me as you find me has been my motto for years but I have had a problem with friends saying cruel things behind my back about me being in that dressing gown looking lazy. As a result I've found myself going through the pain of getting dressed so I don't have to go through that again Even then they're my slobalot clothes LOLOL
Wishing you merryness and happiness this festive time

I wear PJs if I am staying in .. When going out I dress at the last mi ute and undress back into my PJs as soon as I return.. my clothes can feel so heavy and cause pain ... I buy t.shirt shirts and bottoms so they dont look so PJie ..
On the contrary i have lost weight, gone from a 24 to a 20, so all my clothes are quite loose. but i just felt so uncomfortable. Went out yesterday afternoon, with my son and family, to do some shopping, but an hr into the trip i was feeling like i had done a marathon.. At the moment i am having to up the painkillers at night as i am in a lot of pain at night. I am looking forward to christmas but will be glad when its done so that i can relax a bit, instead of racing around trying to get things done and ready. Its the first christmas i have looked forward to since i lost my hubby 7yrs ago.I am spending it with my son and his partner and my little grandaughters.
Aw sounds lovely Linda hope the pain subsides when you stop running about so much, try to relax with your legs up when you get back in as it may help a little or take a coffee break while out so that you can recharge. Its sad that is the way it is for us and exhausting too.
Wishing you merryiness and happiness this festive time

It's not just me! I live in my pyjamas and I won't even change for visitors/workmen. I find getting dressed/undressed really painful so only get dressed if I really have to. I only get out about once a week now and I have to force myself as I know the process of dressing leaves me in pain and exhaustion, let alone getting my scooter in and out the door (I'm waiting for a ramp to be fitted).
I also find wearing clothes really restricting and they seem to make my joint pain worse. PJ's rule!!!!
Many blessings
How odd is this? I'm for the first time in ages not getting dressed properly but am in some trackie bottoms and and a loose fitting jumper. I normally change into them in the evening when I am at my own cottage, because if I step outside the whole world can see me, here (at a friends' house,) no one can see me as the back of the house is completely enclosed , at home I don't have a back door, which sucks really so I can't even pop rubbish out if I wanted to without the possibility of being seen. I also have a problem with the thought that people would think me lazy if they saw me dressed like this, but that's all in my head, I know !!
It's so good to know that others feel the same way
Foggy x
I thought it was just me staying in my pjs all day I too hate getting dressed it's too painful and uncomfortable I only get dressed if I have to go to appointment then it's straight home to put pjs on I'm riddled with arthritis and awaiting knee replacement I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one hating to get dressed x
Omg i can relate to this, i feel so much better in my nightie not pjs as they strangely put pressure on to my back even though they are quite light. I don't wear dresses etc so its such a relief being comfortable even if partner has a sly dig , but i take no notice , in too much pain to take notice.xx
I'm the same I get up in the morning get dressed to take the kids to school (only bottom half as I have my coat on so no one sees my top) then back to my PJ's the minute I walk in. My mother in Law does not like you to spend the day in your PJ and she does think you should go to sleep in the day and she is spending Christmas with me! think I am going to have fun x
Every day!
Yes I do hunni I get very uncomfortable especially at night when I need to sleep and I can't cos of so much pain warmest hugs to you and a very merry Christmas
Aw god we all the same staying in pjs igot 4 new dressing gowns for xmas plus new pj and slippers all diffrent colours I like to coordinate pattens and colours im ocd so even nightwear as to be perfect lol boohoo xx
Hi Boohoo I dont co -ordinate but I try and keep three of four PJs handy in case I get to go to Hospital - I hear you that is a bit extreme YES I know well you see when I was young freshly married woman I had a car crash well my spitfire hit a garbage truck. My Mothers first comment was Oh s**** . Well I ended up in hospital for three solid months and I had nothing to wear so I asked young husband to venture forth and purchase me some nighties.
Imagine my horror when I opened the Woolworths bags and pulled out peach lace and nylon diaphanous see through baby doll nighties. LOL I was in traction with leg up so I had no alternative but to say thank you nicely. They were desperately horrid and a vivid memory is across my mind of how they felt and this is some 33 years ago.
I hid for a week before my Mum came and rescued the situation. o at least three sets always in my drawers
