Maybe the stoned effect will ware off a little once you get used to it. I have heard it can take up to 6 weeks. Glad to hear it's helping you though xx

Lyrica (aka Pregabalin) does take a while to settle in ~ I found it originally made me very sleepy when taken in the morning ~ so I adjusted my dose to 1 x 50mg in the morning, two in the afternoon, when the tri-geminal neuralgia was hitting a rather high pitch, and 3 at night which originally helped with a better sleep.

Now I take 2 each morning, afternoon and evening ~ and it's another Med which I notice if/when I'm late in taking, especially now the trigeminal neuralgia is affecting both side of my face/head.

It's a great medication (for me at least) ~ so just stick in there with it Corrie? ❤️️

B xx

Yes it does help the burning pain it halved the intensity of mine but the first few weeks I was on some other planet and very fuzzy headed for about another month even though my GP started me on the lowest possible dose. I still can't take more than about 125 mg a day but I must admit to is something I wouldn't be without. It might be worth toughing it out if it helps that much perhaps for another week and see if the side effects start to get any better. Good luck with it.x

-caz I have to say the Mirtazapine didn't suit me at all I don't get in with anti depressants for some reason I had to stop all three I tried. It could be of course that they didn't mix in my body with my other meds.
