Dry eyes

My daughter is home from London for a few days from uni so took her shopping yesterday. Got dressed up, put my makeup on (first time in ages!!). Ten minutes into our journey, my eyes start uncontrollably watering , got into town.....I've now got very little eye makeup on, eyes still watering, now getting sore and eyes difficult to focus. Dash into boots, buy some drops.........ooooooooo lovely cool liquid in my eyes. They continued to water all day, got home, my eyes are so sore and red......feel absolutely shattered so straight to bed.

I just feel if it's no one thing, it's another with this condition!!

I get the opposite. ..itchy, gritty eyes which is just as annoying xxx

So sorry your day was spoilt that is why I wear waterproof mascara. Eyes can start running for no reason and the next thing it is as though your makeup is sliding down your face. That gritty feeling is also horrible. I now start and end the day with some dry eye drops and it has made a difference. Hope you will feel better soon.x
