Hi this is my dog family. There is jessie (my daughters dog- the white golden retriever -lived with us for a while but back with my daughter now) Then their is savannah (my eldest daughters dog -the ginger and white cavalier King Charles- also is over ours a lot ) then their is snipe (the black dog who is camouflaged into the side of the car :) - our dog lives with us - Snipe is the one who has just had his operation I have been on about ) and finally Brock (the biggest dog of them all - right at the back - who also lives with us. I hope everyone is alright today and that you laugh about the size comparison of the dogs and have a good day. 😀

What a great family to have is Brock a lurcher? They are such marvellous dogs went and lived at my friend's house for three days to look after hers she was such a laid back character apart from when she was out on her walkies and she nearly pulled my husband's arm off, lol. She used to pounce on mole hills which was hilarious to watch.x

You wouldn't believe how placid Brock is he's a cross lurcher salute something like that he's much bigger than a lurcher? Fabulous placid old boy. He lets Snipe the black sprocker get away with anything. Pleased you like them all. Xx

I have often found that the bigger the dog the gentler they are. I used to often see a big Deerhound in our local vets. He used to sit there calmly with the little girl sat between his front legs leaning back and he would never move apart from to occasionally give her a lick or rest his head on hers it was lovely to see them together. The owners said he was marvellous with her and they would curl up together on the floor and he would lie by her bed all day if she was poorly.x

Oh that's wonderful, love to hear stories like that with young children and animals, very protective that's why. X

what a mixed group. Savannah's colouring is called Blenheim. Presumably after the Duke's Palace of that name

Maureenclayton profile image

Yes the Blenheim palace, there's also the Ruby and another couple I believe. She's an escape artist that one has us really worried she gets out of anywhere no matter what you do. We have boarded up the back garden gate cos she squeezes out if it where you would think that's impossible. My daughter doesn't know what to do next to keep her safe.

Tricolour and black and tan. Mine was a right Houdini too. And lazy. He squeezed under the gate we thought was secure, took himself for a walk round the square, came back and refused to move for us.

They frighten the living daylight out of you, that little one was just about to cross a massive roundabout on a very busy road not long ago, oh my goodness there's was tears galore, my daughter thought that this was the last time she was ever going to see her, she crept slowly up behind her, just then Savannah turned and just waked her tail as if nothing was wrong, and got taken home to be given a million more treats like that's ok you've done nothing wrong. Lol. Going to have to put handcuffs on her or something. Lol. 🐕

So you wining me by taking one more. Well now I'm going to look after my granddaughters little puppy 🐶 - he is called teddy he is a little pomchi (Pomeranian crossed with a chihuahua) I will send you a picture of him through messages. You should get a lot of pleasure taking them out just like I do. They are family but at the moment I haven't been able to take them out because of my health so my daughter is doing that for me. Looking forward to it all again.
