To all who replied to my earlier post 'bad stomach...statins'
I took your advice and was seen by the nurse practioner at 6 pm(how's that for service!) she said I'm really bloated and sore. Blood pressure high. Told me to stop the statins and prescribed ranitidine and cocodomol. See how I go. Oh, and also gave me the flu jab!!

Glad to hear you got seen so quickly and she could prescribe another medication,,and pain relief,,take some extra fruit or senna, as the co codamol can be constipating,,,I know about this one,,,maybe a blood test to check your lipid levels to keep you informed,,, or it could be a different brand of statin might be better for you when you feel better, and the bloating has decreased,,take it easy,,ttfn from karen.
